Getinge Disinfection AB is part of Getinge Group and produces disinfection equipment for the global market. Getinge Disinfection AB in Växjö has around 140 employees and an annual turnover of approximately 580 million SEK.

We are now recruiting a Site Manager (General Manager) to take lead on the process of executing Växjö as Center of Excellence for our Disinfection product line! This position offers a great opportunity for a results-driven and passionate leader to have a major influence on the continuous development of a site with world-class ambitions!

The position
In this position you will be responsible for all activities at the site as well as coordinate the functions within the site in order to fulfil defined objectives and strategies.
The incumbent will hold a key position in the Operations Management team and will report to SVP Operations, Getinge Infection Control.

You will lead a professional team consisting of competencies such as Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance and HR with the objective to secure the execution of Växjö as Center of Excellence for the product line Disinfection.

Continuous improvements and standardization of processes is a key contributor for future success. Collaboration with other departments such as R&D, Sales, Marketing and Sourcing is critical and a key success factor where one of the challenges will be to implement a matrix organization.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Continue to deliver a sustainable performance with a total cost approach
• Secure continuous improvements, focusing on quality and productivity
• Drive and lead different transformation projects
• Responsible for meeting EHS commitments
• Meet unions representatives on a regularly basis
• Legal responsible for all activities at the site

Travel is estimated to approximately 20-30 days per year.

The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have a minimum of five years’ experience from a similar position in an international environment with focus on Lean Production. You have been involved in major Supply Chain transformation projects and understand what it is like to work in a global and dynamic manufacturing organization.

Some of your key characteristics include:
• Master of Engineering or similar education
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Lean Production
• Knowledge of English & Swedish (oral and written)
• Very good in communication
• Very good business and financial understanding
• Very good leadership skills
• Very good knowledge in occupational healthy
• Good command of rules and regulations concerning medical devices
• Have experience from turnaround programs
• Change management skills
