Software Developer Specialist

Nasdaq is now looking for a Software Developer Specialist to join Genium INET Trading team. The team consisting of a very skilled group of developers working together to form the core functional and non-functional development of the Genium INET Trading solution. The Genium INET Trading solution powers several big exchanges around the world, for example in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and out own Nordic market.

About the role and responsibilities

* Adopt a holistic view of the entire system layout and configuration
* Review business requirements and software design specifications
* Develop new complex functionality in an environment handling large volumes of data and demands for high availability
* Write and execute unit tests using continues integration/delivery tools in order to get fast feedback in faulty situations.

Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications

* Education Required: University degree in computer science, information technology, software development or similar or equivalent work experience
* At least 7 years of work experience

Qualifications

* Experience with enterprise Java application development, C/C++
* Comfortable in a SCRUM and Agile environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, train, inspire and motivate team to accomplish objectives
* Ability to build good relationships with peers, business partners, and clients
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Experience from working with financial systems especially clearing/settlement systems would be a merit
