Normative is now looking for a Software Engineer - Data Ingestion and Integrations

Normative is accelerating the transition to a net zero world. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints.

Our Tech team constantly improves on the world’s first emissions accounting engine. Every improvement they make directly contributes to helping companies reach net zero emissions.

What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions:

- Design, build and scale how our customers import their financial data into Normative’s system

- Implement the backend and frontend of data integration solutions, both for external customers and for internal use

- Contribute to quality, and engage in improving engineering practices and processes together with your team

- Deploy and monitor services using Normative’s cloud infrastructure

- Share your knowledge, and learn together with your teammates



To be successful, we believe you have:

- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer, backend engineer, or a similar role

- Strong experience working with the Node.js and TypeScript stack

- Experience working with frontend technologies such as Angular or React

- Good knowledge of integrating with external APIs for data ingestion and data exchange

- Being comfortable working with data from a variety of storage technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud file storage solutions

Location

Normative operates on a hybrid remote model with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London. For this role, you can be based in Stockholm or work remotely within Sweden. Our remote team members are expected to travel - in a climate-friendly way - to meet at our offices about once every second month.
