Software engineer Master Data Store & Warehouse

Software engineer to one of our big customer.
We are looking for a software engineer with solution architect competence and several years of experience in SAP MDG to design and deliver SAP Data Management solutions for Master Data site area.
As a software engineer you are responsible for the entire software life cycle – design, development, test, release and maintenance and translates business needs into working software. The MDG consultant will develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to support of key business processes.

Responsibilities
The primary tasks for the SW engineer within master data site area:
Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes for
Leading and Facilitating MDM requirements gathering across multiple domains for site objects
Utilize the master data management capabilities to simplify and automate business processes
Realize the maximum potential of MDG, Workflow Development, customizing approval workflows for parallel and multi-level approvals
Translate site strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account
Build the simplest possible solution that fulfills user needs as well as meets functional, compliance and quality requirements
Identify and share best practices with other teams as well as produce necessary documentation
Make sure to deliver solutions on time and identify and eliminate potential waste (e.g. unnecessary documentation, inefficient methodologies etc.)

 
Skills and abilities
Mandatory requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within SAP MDG
Good knowledge of setting up configuration in SAP MDG
Good knowledge in SAP ECC and/or S4/Hana
Experience in Fiori applications
Good knowledge of SAP integrations and API
Experience in leading and facilitating MDM requirements
Ability to code in functional programming languages and build distributed, scalable and resilient solutions
Used to work with both technical questions and business requirements.
Ability to train the users
Ability to perform early analysis including positioning of capabilities in the system landscape as well as presenting alternative solution options and technical choices
Ability to comprehend the different architectural viewpoints and identify and understand their dependencies
Ability to design and build high-performing and secure software solutions according to the customer needs with given tools and languages
Ability to apply leading software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software
Ability to test and deploy software solutions, including ability to design and build advanced automated ‘build, test, and release’ infrastructure
Ability to collaborate effectively with SW Engineers in other Product Teams to solve and reduce technical dependencies
Being independent and outgoing
Excellent verbal communication and documentation capacity in English.
Worked in global organizations for system implementation
