Solution Architect

About the job
The main responsibility as Solution Architect is to lead high level design work in our customer order fulfillment and web flows. In this role, you are a vital part of our Solution & Design team. You will use your experience of agile development and are familiar with the SAFe framework.

You will:
•Work in an agile team setup with a mix of IT and Business competences.
•Lead high level design work with multiple stakeholders like Business representatives, IT architects, Test architect, Integration designers and System designers.
•Update and maintain high level designs valid for multiple systems within the IKEA IT landscape based on the functional and non-functional requirements.
•Create a maintainable solution design, sufficient for rapid development, verification, validation and operations.
•Ensure compliance to architecture requirements and IT Blueprints
•Support in Test preparation work

We are looking for people with at least 5 years of experience in building and designing IT solutions in the area of Sales Order Management and Web. Experience in e-Commerce and/or Sales Order Management built on Sterling Commerce is a strong merit. You have strong analytical skills and the ability to see the high level picture and still enjoy working with the details. You are used to work in a large IT landscape with complex integrations. As a person you are open to new ideas and constantly looking for improvements. You enjoy working together in the team to deliver business value to our customers and know the importance of building cross functional relationships with both internal stakeholders and vendors. Also you have a mature approach to handle changing priorities and communicate complex topics in a pedagogic way.
