Solution architect

Based on deep Scania business knowledge and internal relations we balance in-house core competences and service production with services externally sourced and governed by us. We are around 1500 people and the majority is located in Sodertalje.

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The importance of understandable, trustworthy, and reliable data is rapidly increasing. Information Management and our supporting platforms and tools are key to this shift and we need a skilled solution architect with experience in cloud and knowledge graph technology to help our solutions be world-class!

Your assignment
Your work will be highly impacting on Scania’s ability to take fact-based decisions and be an enabler in our digitalization transformation. So if you are passionate about working with modern architecture, knowledge graph technology, and information management – this is a great opportunity!
Your main area of focus will be to design and secure a stable technical solution for platforms and tools within Information Management i.e. Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Information Architecture and Information Governance. You will be the bridge between technical specialists and users, to secure that the solutions are based on modern methods, architecture patterns and technology.

Your profile
The ideal candidate has a solid experience in solution architecture and knowledge graph technology . If you also have experience from processes and tools within Information management that would be a plus.

Location
In Södertälje. We currently meet each other IRL one day per week.
