Solution Architect

The Service Portfolio and License Management area manages the non-standard request process from start to finish, providing Service/Solution Design competence. We are now looking for a Solution Architect for a creative role with a global scope.

Key performance areas
The Solution Architect provides value to the organization by focusing on designing fit for purpose solutions with architectural integrity that are aligned with the architectural guidance and constraints in the IT Landscape. The scope of responsibility can range from one separate IT system to a significant subset of the Sandvik IT solution landscape.

As a Solution Architect for Custom Solution Design (CSD), you will be a part of the Service Portfolio Management team and help understand the non-standard requests and design solutions and transform them into high-level proposals, together with Service, Domain and Enterprise architects and with the Service Transition Manager.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. We expect that you have an IT background and at least five years' experience as an IT architect, preferably in a captive IT organization. You have knowledge from solution design and excellent skills in English, both written and verbal. Experience from infrastructure architecture and design is definitely advantageous.

You are highly customer-service oriented and have strong communication skills. You are an analytical and structured team player, who is driven, takes on technical challenges with determination and works flexibly in a changing environment. Furthermore, you are creative and work proactively.
