About the position



As a Solution Architect you will have the responsibility to create and drive target architecture in line with business objectives to improve quality and time to market of change activities, primarily those with a significant IT impact. Your focus will be to work with the architecture around Risk and Trading’s usage of SEB:s Data Lake ensuring that we have the right quality and granularity and that our applications can harness the analytic power of our technology. Furthermore, you proactively support the development of the architecture community with common ways of working, governance, architectural principles and guidelines.

The end goal is to ensure that we have the most stable, modern and maintainable platform in the business. You will be a part of the global organisation within Corporate functions and International sites.

Your profile

To succeed as our Solution Architect, we believe that you are an experienced programmer within the area Risk/Trading and that you are passionate about financial mathematics and financial products. It is likely that you are interested in the small details that makes a functional architecture a great architecture. You are also attentive to the big picture and can see the whole solution and not just the individual components.

As a person, you are results- and business oriented – you take personal responsibility for creating and delivering high-value results. You have a pragmatic approach towards problem-solving. Finally, we think that you have excellent capabilities to engage people and build relationships – you are basically a great communicator.
