S&OP Process Owner & Head of Global Planning - Rock Tools

Arbetsbeskrivning

Are you excited by having a large, global network and the opportunity of making an impact on our operations by bringing innovation and new ideas to the table? We have recently formed a new and autonomous Global Operations organization, and we’re now ready to gear up. Our goal is clear – we’re aiming to holistically optimize our entire global value chain and creating an effective, modern structure by using digitalization as a tool for success.

For this new organization within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology and division Rock Tools, we’re looking for a brave, hands-on and business driven Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) Process Owner and Head of Global Planning. Joining us, you’ll really feel the pulse of a global industrial frontrunner and you get to connect with brilliant minds spread across all corners of the world. We have the aspiration of setting the industry standard, and if you want an opportunity to make a mark and reshape the way we plan our operations, this is the job for you!

Well, what about the job?
Once you become part of our team, you’re responsible for our S&OP process. Your most important mission is to build a stable, transparent and predictable supply chain that stretches all the way from forecasting customer needs, through production planning to delivery. You do this by leading us along an exciting cross-functional change journey with many different stakeholders within Global Operations, our sales areas and in the Rock Tools Management team. By gathering valuable insights and strategically evaluate our processes and various scenarios, you support us in making informed and timely decisions and being more effective from a planning, production and economic point of view. You also explore what collaborations and digital ways we need to implement to create a world-class business.

You’re a key member of our Global Operations Management team, where we constantly collaborate to enhance our performance and serve our customers’ needs. Your own small and very strategically important team of global planners are based in Sweden and India, which includes some travelling. As we have our major hubs in Sandviken and Västberga, Stockholm (Sweden), we believe that you need to be located at one of these sites. We do want your presence in Sandviken on a weekly basis.

Your experience is important, and your personality is what makes you great!
With solid experience from S&OP process development and previously working with forecasts and production planning connected to financial drivers, you’re made for this job. You successfully know how to transform a vision into clear actions and measurable milestones, and you leave no stone unturned as you look at things from different perspectives, follow various patterns and analyze our processes. We believe that you have probably done a similar journey in your previous career, and you understand the benefits of digitalization and new technology. As we’re a global player, you must be fluent in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.

You enjoy taking the lead in creating something new and you use your convincing communication skills to leave a positive impact. You’re also very clear with your expectations and you build a team culture that sets ambitious targets and aim for great results. Collaboration is in the core of your character, and your structured, enduring and genuine ways are a winning combination as you interact and build trust among our stakeholders.

A glimpse of our culture
At Sandvik, we believe in finding that perfect mix between work, family life and interests, and we happily support our employees in balancing this. For us, it’s also clear that diversity of experience, perspective and background forms an amazing foundation for achieving great results.
