With deep roots in music, art, architecture and what is contemporary, Axel Arigato has defined itself by offering more than a product. It has been created to leave an experience at the front of mind, whether it’s via stores, online or through events.

Axel Arigato currently has 8 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Munich & Paris with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 100 members of staff in 7 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

Sourcing & Production Manager RTW

We are looking for an ambitious Sourcing & Production Manager RTW to be a part of our expanding team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that is extremely structured and organized, able to work as a co-function across teams, with a passion for fashion in ready to wear. Your main focus and responsibilities will be to source factories, raw materials, ensure capacity, quality, lead-time and margin throughout our sourcing and production processes.

You will work in close collaboration with the Head of Sourcing and Production, Head of RTW, Product Developers, Design and Production Operations managing the product's full life cycle. We are looking for someone who considers themselves to be product-driven and executing to the highest level of quality.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

With the team, you will work day to day with:

• Source new factories and raw materials following Axel Arigato`s requirements
• Ensure capacity, quality, lead-time and margin of Axel Arigato’s production to deliver according to our targets
• Continuous interaction with key stakeholders related to product, suppliers, process, and agreements
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution and periodic business reviews
• Build/keep an internal material library and sourcing strategies in changing global environments
• Continuous, annual, and long-term management of supplier capacity
• Manage and implement reduction of production lead-time
• Follow up on factory performance through KPI:s based on approval process and best practices
• Manage raw material projections and bookings in order to secure capacity and follow up with production coordinators in partnership with our finished goods factories on actualization
• Supplier management including annual contracts, certifications, audits, policies, supplier manuals and onboarding procedures
• Manage and ensure the PLM system is up to date for the area
• Together with related teams monitor and review all pre-production samples to ensure execution to specifications as well as meet material, quality, execution and construction standards.
• Develop processes for product production that helps scale up the department workflows bringing suggestions for constant improvements and efficiencies
• Follow product process from development handover to final sample in partnership with suppliers, emphasizing quality product and timely completion of tasks in accordance with the seasonal calendar
• Follow the changes in design from the RTW SMS stage to the final product and keep all corresponding data up to date and all relevant teams informed
• Work closely with the Product Development team to secure approvals for production orders in accordance with delivery schedules
• Creation and management of all production specification sheets

ARE YOU THE ONE?

We seek someone with around 5 years’ experience in sourcing and production within ready to wear. You can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of production methods and manufacturing processes . We also see you as having most of the following:

• Experience working across different garment categories
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; detail-oriented and meticulous
• Knowledge in CMT and FOB
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and software systems
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English is a must, additional languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Experience working with production in Portugal is not mandatory but meriting
