Sourcing Buyer for Bearings

Mission:
Develop and maintain purchasing solutions for bearings.

Scope:
Global sourcing of bearings for engine, transmission and axles.

Core responsibilities and main deliverables
Lead cross-functional team to define and maintain segment purchasing strategies.
Lead cross-functional team to make supplier selections.
Negotiate supplier agreements and major commercial issues.
Deliver to Projects and other internal customers on time.
Meet targets of contracted MCL (material cost level).
Monitor long term suppliers? performances in terms of QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Functionality).
Organize managment meeting and business review meetings with key suppliers.
Keep data base in purchasing systems updated.
Coordinate and prepare supplier management meetings.
Act as supplier relationship host.

Qualifications:
University degree, preferably in engineering or business.
Minimum 5 years purchasing experience, preferably in strategic purchasing area.
Proficient in English
Analytical, logical and structured.
Good communication skills.
Open and willing to work in international environment.
Technical knowledge of vehicle and powertrain system is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure.
