About the company
SiteTel was established in 2003 to produce battery back-up systems that are sold and used together with NorthStar batteries. These battery back-up systems are used in Telecom, UPS and Solar applications by major players around the world. Today SiteTel employs 100 people in Stockholm, Sweden.

SiteTel is part of the NorthStar Group, which also includes NorthStar Battery in Springfield USA, SiteTel China in Shanghai and Shenzhen, NS Asia Pacific in Malaysia, and the newest SiteTel branch in Dubai, opened in 2012. Since 2007, NorthStar Group is owned by the private equity company Altor.

Work description
Responsible for improving delivery performance and supporting improved cost performance for suppliers within the existing supplier base as well as being the overall main commercial interface for the supplier base

Key areas
Establish and monitor supplier cost and delivery metrics/KPIs. Drive monthly performance meetings towards key suppliers together with Supplier Quality Engineer
Allocate new or current business within existing supplier base by running sourcing events covering:
- Identify sourcing needs
- Collect and structure needed documentation
- Create RFQ package
- Run quotation round(s)
- Negotiate and allocate business
- Manage phase-ins/phase-outs
Implement internal or customer driven change request errands in existing supplier base
Manage and develop cost analysis toolbox as support to driving cost improvements
Maintain and develop sourcing expertise/excellence (e.g. market trends, potential suppliers, manufacturing methods/technologies)
Continuously monitor supply setup with suppliers (e.g. MoQs, lead-times, buffers) together with Supply Controller. Propose and implement changes as needed
Act as escalation point for the Supply team in supplier delivery issues
Manage and quality-control all sourcing related information in MRP system (prices, lead-times, etc.)
Support other activities as requested by Sourcing Manager at SiteTel.
The position implies some business trips

Experience, skills and abilities
Bachelor?s Degree in the field(s) of business, economics and/or civil engineering.
Work experience in telecoms and/or of procurement is meriting.
Good written and verbal skills, both in Swedish and English.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
Experience of business systems in general and Pyramid specifically is merited.
Highly motivated with drive, stamina and willingness to learn.
Structured - plans, organizes and prioritized tasks efficiently.
