Specialist within Operational Risk to Swedbank Group Finance

<I> Group Finance reports to the CFO of Swedbank. Group Finance is responsible for closing the books and internal and external financial reporting, analyses, performance control and follow-up of financial results. Group Finance is now looking to strengthen the governance functions. The Function consists today of four specialists, two IFRS specialists and two specialists with focus on internal control and operational risk. </I>

Arbetsbeskrivning
You will be a member of a team who are responsible for reporting, monitoring and supporting Group Finance in respect of financial governance and operational risk related matters. The team is currently involved in both re-occurring risk related activities as well as ad hoc projects related to identifying and limiting operational risk. You will be reporting to Head of Valuation, Governance and Strategic Change.

Your tasks within the team will for example be to:

- Lead Group Finance operational risk work including implementation of policies, directives and instructions with assistance from Group Risk. Facilitate and lead Group Finance Risk and Control Self Assessment to increase risk awareness and proactive risk mitigation. Monitor and report Group Finance operational risk issues to Group Operational risk. Ad hoc operational risk tasks and projects.
- Lead and co-ordinate Swedbank’s third party assurance engagement (ISAE 3402)
- Support implementation of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR)
- Lead and manage Swedbank’s code of corporate governance report


Kvalifikationer och egenskaper
You have a university degree in business administration, finance or similar and very good knowledge in both Swedish and English. We believe that you have 2-3 years’ experience from an audit firm where you have worked with operational risk and/or audited financial institutes and from that perspective come in contact with operational risk. Of course your experience can also come from a risk department at a bank or financial institution.

As a person you are a well structured and process oriented team player with good analytical skills. You are proactive and self-driven as a person with ability to network within the organization and communicate with others. Furthermore, you are ambitious and interested in developing within the financial governance and/or operational risk area.
