ASSA ABLOY ENTRANCE SYSTEMS IS LOOKING FOR A
SENIOR ELECTRONIC ENGINEER
IN OUR INDUSTRIAL DOORS AND DOCKING SOLUTIONS BUSINESS AREA

You will be part of a dynamic R&D team and work mainly with products related to our Business Area Industrial Door and Docking Solution (IDDS). As a Sr Electronic Engineer your main responsibility is to take electronic system design responsibility in projects by electronic development and design. We are looking for a proactive person to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electronic systems.

Responsibilities and challenges:
Your experience, expertise and professionals focus will be crucial for your main tasks and to what extent you will be responsible for one or several areas. Broadly speaking, your duties include:

* Develop electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
* Assure product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
* Be a part of innovative workshops and brainstorming sessions to develop new solutions
* Feasibility studies and technical investigations
* Project work with certain group responsibilities
* Specialization and responsibility for one or several areas of technology
* Continuous development of our control platforms
* Contact with third-party testing lab for example SP, UL and TÜV

The position is full time and based in Landskrona. You report to our R&D Manager and you will collaborate and be a part of a team consisting of 14 people.

Background and personal qualities:
We are looking for a self-motivated, analytic person with a high drive. You have a thorough and systematic way of working with communication and time management skills. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy contributing to a team by accomplishing related results as needed but also have the ability to work independently when needed. You cope quickly with change and are willing to learn new skills that the situations require. To be successful in this role you have a BS in engineering and 7+ years of broad experience within electromechanical products and systems.

Qualifications - Mandatory
* A university degree in engineering, E or D (at least 120 p)
* Minimum 7 years relevant experience
* Experience of micro controlled based embedded systems
* Electronics troubleshooting
* Electronic testing design
* Quality focus
* Ability to speak and write fluent in both Swedish and English

Qualifications - Meritorious
* Experience of design tools like PADS
* Experience of third party tests lab (SP, UL, TÜV)
* Experience of serial bus communication
* Experience in DC motor control
* Project Management
* Innovation
