Within our division Special Steels, we are now looking for a strategic, technical skilled Regional Sales Manager for our sales team in Spain. Your main responsibility will be to develop sales and growth plans towards our existing and new customers in the country.
As Regional Sales Manager in Spain, you are playing an important role in developing and building the Special Steels market and strategy. You will train our customers with your technical competence and will offer support in order to build customer value and profitability.
You will work mainly remotely from your home office, and this position consists of traveling.
About the position:
As Regional Sales Manager within the sales and marketing function, you have the responsibility of develop sales through technical support. It includes developing new customers, segments and applications as well as upgrading existing and new customers to more advanced materials. You will drive the development of local sales and marketing activities towards our customers.
To succeed in the role you will participate in marketing actions and visit workshops and end-users on a regular basis. You will analyze and develop the strategy to increase end-user reach. It feels natural to work according to SSAB´s short and long-term strategic goals.
Your qualifications:
As a person, you have a proactive approach to new business opportunities and continued improvements, and you truly enjoy creating partnerships with internal and external customers. You have a strong interest in coaching and supporting customers to grow their business. We see our new team member as someone with strong curiosity, a positive, solution-oriented mindset and great social skills. You are social, trustworthy and in addition to that, you have a structured way of working and the strategic ability to see the whole picture.
You have some technical experience, a strong drive to work in the steel business and a genuine interest to learn more about steel making, properties and user benefits.
You have preferably graduated with a degree from a University in Europe, or a college/higher education institution, and have been working experience in similar fields.
Professional working skills in Spanish and English are required.
