As Stamping die process engineer you will be deeply involved in the design and development of the car and its body components from an early stage until start of production in our car plants. In the early project phases you will lead and drive the feasibility work regarding the parts against product design in Gothenburg. Parallel to this you are developing the production process for the part. During the production process development you will also be the interface towards the die suppliers around the world. The work is conducted in cross functional teams working with product design, production engineering and simulation.

Main responsibilities

* You will be responsible for developing stamping processes for the new sheet metal parts in the future coming cars
You are responsible for creating processes with high quality output and with high accuracy
* With your experience and knowledge you give your input to the product designer with guidelines to ensure that the products meets set requirement
* Parallel to this you will start up the work with the die manufactures to whom where you will give input about how they shall build the dies
* You are responsible for feasibility of parts
* Die design follow up

Required qualifications

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. within mechanical engineering (Other similar education in combination with adequate experience can be considered)
* Knowledge in Catia V5
* Swedish, fluent, both written and spoken
* English, very good skills, both written and spoken
* Meritorious is experience in die engineering (sheet metal forming, die design, die manufacturing)
* Meritorious is experience in different modules in Catia V5, such as Shape design, Analysis or Drafting
