Two years ago, The Walt Disney Company announced that they had chosen EA to create new Star Wars experiences for gamers worldwide. The magic of Star Wars is interwoven into the worlds, characters, planets and amazing battles. It is a universe that lends itself perfectly to gaming. Our agreement unlocks a whole new future of Star Wars games that will span consoles, pcs, tablets, mobile and more. The EA Studios that are developing these games are some of the most innovative and popular creative teams in the world, and include DICE, Visceral, BioWare and the just recently announced new studio called Motive being led by Jade Raymond. These imaginative teams will make games that may borrow from films, but the games will be entirely original with all new stories. All of it powered by the Frostbite development engine ? guaranteeing incredible graphic fidelity, environments and characters.



The first game set to launch under this new partnership is Star Wars Battlefront, made by DICE in Stockholm, Sweden. As anticipation for Star Wars The Force Awakens builds, so does the excitement for Star Wars Battlefront! We?re looking for a Senior Marketing Director to lead the EA Star Wars Battlefront franchise, based at the EA DICE Studio in Stockholm, Sweden. We need a world class marketer who can partner with this world class development studio and build this franchise over multiple years. We need a progressive thinker with experience launching AAA games, understanding consumer needs, building high quality marketing assets, managing a live service, and exploring new business models. You will manage a team at DICE in Stockholm and will also be part of a large global network that includes EA, Lucasfilm, Disney and many other partners. In order to be successful, you must have the ability to partner with multiple teams, process analytics and consumers insights into a clear product strategy and execute against a vision for the future.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the EA star wars battlefront franchise
Set marketing strategies, target audience, positioning and franchise key performance indicators
Prioritize key moments of truth to double down
Establish key performance indicators for key player journey moments of truth and drive org to solutions when key performance indicators not being met
Manage global franchise/licensor approvals
Lead marketing collaboration framework process that evaluates metrics, flags opportunities/risks and drives org to solutions that foster positive player relationship
Drive consistency in metrics that fuel the business


BUILD THE BRAND

Define brand identity/voice via brand bible
Lead key global marketing assets and relationships
Ensure that all marketing activity is on brand such that each touch point consistently builds player trust
Curate player insights and provide in-depth player expertise
Work with go to market teams to ensure campaign is on brand and on strategy
Drive the Lucasfilm approval pipeline
