Itinera, a rapidly growing, international company is looking for a Storekeeper
Itinera is one of the main global players in the construction of large infrastructural projects and civil and industrial buildings. Itinera operates in 15 countries worldwide. In Sweden, Itinera is expanding and has started two projects building the new Stockholm metro.
We are looking for a person who is both energetic and accurate.
As a storekeeper, you will maintain an automated supply inventory database including updating the database of materials, supplies, and equipment, generating related reports to verify inventory levels, and determining re-order activity and usage rates. You will distribute and issue work clothes, supplies, materials, and equipment based on incoming requests and orders. You initiate orders to replenish supply inventories following established guidelines and procedures and follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of items.
Your responsibilities include conducting inspections on the receipt of delivery from suppliers to verify the quality and quantity of materials and equipment received against specifications and units ordered, after which you dispatch the incoming items to the appropriate areas or recipients.
You will prepare and maintain a variety of records related to the organization’s store activities and assist in keeping the assigned facility clean and orderly. You will take care of making minor repairs to equipment to ensure proper working conditions.
The job of a storekeeper requires some physical labor and heavy lifting.
The work tasks include:
Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders
Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels
Keep up-to-date records of receipts, records, and withdrawals from the stockroom
Oversee the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and minor repairs
Manage supplier relations and database as well as maintain high ethical relationships both internally and externally

Requirements:
High School diploma
Very good in English and Swedish
Swedish driver’s license (B-körkort)
Forklift certification
Ability to make independent decisions and judgments on routine procedural issues
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
Energetic
Good sense of order
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
