Scienta Omicron is now adding a new colleague to our production team in Uppsala (Sweden). We are a group of 12 persons working closely together with a high level of autonomy.

We are now adding a new colleague to our production team in Uppsala. You will work in a dedicated team that include assembly, test and logistics. We work in a highly international environment as part of the Scienta Scientific group. Our brand new office is located at Danmarksgatan 22 in Uppsala, Sweden.
 
Responsibilities as Strategic buyer
 
·       Order management for all direct material
·       Supplier dialogues
·       New supplier introductions
·       Strategic supplier base development
·       Supplier quality


Your Profile


·       We believe that you have an Engineering degree or relevant experience
·       Experience from procurement
·       Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing methods
·       You are proactive and creative when improving the supplier base
·       Understanding of complex technical parts
·       You are a driven, energetic and delivery focused team player
 
Requirements


·       Some travel required
·       Fluent in Swedish
·       Fluent in business English (verbal and written)
·       Advantage: Monitor ERP system
 
We are offering a great opportunity to be part of a growing high-tech company. You will be responsible for securing material for the daily production, and improving the supplier base strategically on a longer term. You probably have some experience from buying in a larger organization and want to improve your skills in working with suppliers.
