Arbetsuppgifter

As Strategic Purchaser you have the full responsibility for your categories. This means form and drive actions to meet the short and long term strategies, in terms of supplier footprint and KPI targets. To achieve the set KPI targets as cost improvements, you work proactively - evaluating existing suppliers and sourcing for other relevant cooperations.
Your focus area is mainly direct materials such as metal, castings and plastics, where you support our plants in Scandinavia, Europe and Asia. The overall responsibility for all plants allows you to work actively to find efficient synergies. Operationally you will handle escalated supplier issues as well as continuously do follow-ups with supplier to constant improve Performance, Delivery and Quality.

You are based in Örebro and will be expected to travel approximatly 30 days/year


Utbildning/erfarenhet

To be successful in this position you will need at least 3-5 year of working experience from a procurement role within an industrial organization. You have an engineering or economics degree. A technical interest and understanding is a must as this allows you to easy discuss the needs of different stakeholders. We think that you have experience of working in projects, focused on the supplier related questions. You are a good communicator and a natural negotiator.

Excellent skills within the Office Package and Excel are required and experience from the rubber industry is an advantage.

Continuous improvements is a key driver within Trelleborg and our procurement. You work proactively always one step ahead, initiating actions and projects to improve your area of responsibility. You are also structured and well organized and with a service minded approach.

You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
