Volvo Cars is looking for students to work with various tasks within product development and Global Customer Service during the summer of 2020. We offer positions with both technical and administrative focus. You will be offered an opportunity to get insight in the product development process and you will be working with different assignments connected to developing a car. We offer different positions within Product & Quality and Global Customer Service in Gothenburg and your placement will be based on your education, competence, experience and interest.

What you'll do
For instance you could be working with:
* Software downloads/development
* Back office support – such as visualization and analyzing work and CAD.
* Measurements on Volvo test track
* Preparing test vehicles
* Administration such as creating flowcharts, update websites, documentation and analysis


Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for students that have a positive mindset and want to be part of high-performing teams this summer. You are structured, analytical and able to take initiatives and work independently. Being a good team player is of high importance.

You match the following criteria:

* Ongoing education at university level or proficient knowledge within the fields of i.e. Logistics, Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Technical with focus on car technologies, Master of Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
* Some positions require special skills in CAD and visualization software as well as excellent computer skills.
* Some positions require knowledge in customer support, SAP, programming and/or software development, noise measurements, and Confluence knowledge for websites
* Proficient knowledge in MS Office
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Minimum 18 years old


Having a valid Swedish B driver’s license and/or a general interest in car technology is meritorious for some positions. Some positions might need you to work some evenings.

Duration: All summer worker positions will take place during the period June-August 2020 for a total work period of up to 10 weeks depending on the position. Note that some departments might be closed for a period during week 29-32.
