Husqvarna Construction Products is a part of Husqvarna AB. We are a world leader in the construction and stone industries. Our extensive construction product range includes machines, diamond tools and all accessories that you need for cutting, sawing and drilling.

This position is based at our Global Headquarters in Jonsered, just outside of Gothenburg.

Job Description:
To increase the quality level of components to our plants, we need to strengthen the quality work towards our supply base.

The position is mainly an active SQA/SQI role, working hands on with the suppliers delivering to the Husqvarna Construction Equipment plant in Åsbro. In this role the SQA/SQI will also be a coach/coordinator for similar activities performed in our plants in China and USA.

As an SQI you will work with the supply base to improve the quality levels of the day-to-day deliveries. By using structured methods and verification procedures with a clear goal to lift key suppliers to a higher level and thereby lower the reject levels to our plant(s).

As an SQA you will develop the quality assurance procedures at the suppliers by using structured methods and verification processes (PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans etc.) in accordance with Husqvarna Quality Assurance Process. The SQA is expected to make needed adaptations in the process to better fit the needs of Husqvarna Construction Equipment. Low volume production often needs a different approach on how to reach the required quality standards.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree and/or a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with quality assurance towards suppliers to a manufacturing company.
• Possession of recognized qualifications in quality engineering, audit processes and relevant certifications. A strong understanding of APQP is a clear advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical components and electronics is an advantage.
• English, fluent in both written and oral.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
