Supplier Quality Engineer

Essential customer sectors are the automotive, construction, electronics, food, logistics and pharmaceutical industries as well as the heavy and manufacturing industry.


In the role as Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) your job will be to secure the quality of purchased componentes and processes of our Swedish and foreign suppliers. You will mainly work with preventative quality and evaluate new and current suppliers together with our purchasers. As a SQE you will maintain several contacts and travel to suppliers approx. 20 days/year. Business development and support to help us increase the quality of our internal processes and work methods are also included in the job.

Your profile
- A degree from a Technical College or several years of relevant experience.Experince and knowledge of different quality tools, for example Six Sigma, 8D, 5 Why, FMEA.
- Understanding of the manufacturing process, preferably within plastic or electronics.
- Understanding of the product development process.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both speaking and writing.
- Drivers license (B) is recommendable.

As a person, you have good social skills and a professional way of dealing with suppliers, handling both conflicts and maintaining good relations. You are detailed and thorough and take responsibility to structure and organize your own work. You have an adaptive approach and are able to prioritize your tasks to handle peaks of heavy work-load. You have a high quality standard in your work and continually work to improve your own results.
