National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS) builds on the Saab Automobile AB legacy of innovative power, quality, progressive design and a firm commitment to environmental and safety issues. Our aim is to be a front runner in the automotive industry, with focus on electric vehicles.

Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.

The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.


Description
We are looking for a SQ-engineer who will work with
- creating effective and long-term supplier relationships
- sourcing quality and take responsibility for what suppliers are
  performing to NEVS
- coordinating contacts with international partners
- advanced selection of suppliers, making qualified evaluations
  and develop suppliers
- control of suppliers' manufacturing process, safety and
  production in order to keep the right quality at NEVS
- ability to work x-functional within purchasing and supply chain

 
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has
- a Technical, Economic or Legal University degree or equivalent
  experience
- extensive experience in purchasing activities in industry
- competence and experience in APQP work
- relevant experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
