About the position
Perido is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a position at one of our clients, a major company and well-known name in the automotive industry. This is a full-time position situated in Gothenburg at the company’s Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L) center, who are responsible for the accessories and spare parts availability globally.
Your daily tasks
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll handle and solve incidents and problems in a systematic and efficient manner. You'll act as the link between Supplier Relations and Demand Planning, ensuring deviations are taken care of in a timely manner to secure end-to-end parts availability.
To summarize, this is what you’ll be working with:
Ensuring optimized KPIs are reached for responsible assortments, such as availability, stock level, back orders, and delivery notice
Adjusting forecasts and delivery schedules to meet availability targets based on changes in demand
Using an analytical approach and problem-solving tools to find patterns in deviations and problems, and eliminate root causes
Communicating with stakeholders to evaluate the impact of material stock, transportation, and supplier delivery on cross-functional problem-solving activities
Driving corrective actions with stakeholders such as suppliers, purchasing, and commercial to solve problems and improve processes

Your characteristics
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork. In this role, it will be important that you are able to manage your workload and meet deadlines by organizing and prioritizing your work in a dynamic and complex environment. You should also have a structured approach, be quality conscious, and have good documentation skills. The ability to work well both individually and as part of a team is essential. Your strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners will be valuable assets in this role.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent
3 years’ experience working with supply chain is preferred
Ability to handle large data sets and create story-telling visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or SPSS)
Excellent communication skills in speech and writing, in English

Meriting
Masters’s degree in logistics, economics, engineering, or equivalent
Experience from having worked in an international fast-paced setting
Experience in working with enterprise resource planning systems
Object oriented programming (e.g., Python)

Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment through Perido until 2025-01-15. Start as soon as possible.
