Supply Chain Manager

In your role as a Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for management of all flow-related aspects (incoming, outgoing and internal) in the plant. You are also responsible for optimization of the processes within the logistic function through analysis and problem solving. As SCM you will be in charge of a team of 5 persons, were you together with the team will all contribute to reach the objectives of the plant and to reach the delivery service towards our customer aligned with the Schneider Production System (SPS).

Your main responsibilities
As the SCM you will drive supply chain development within the plant. You are responsible to organize the flow of materials & resources within the department to reach a good service level & inventory level that optimize the resources in the plant:
- Organize clear and reliable purchasing processes, from analyzing the needs, until reception in the plant.
- Organize clear and reliable, efficient and simple Warehouse and MPH processes.
- Organize clear and reliable downstream / customer service processes, from order reception until arrival at the customer.
You will work with the plant?s part of the global SIOP process, incl. the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and supplier forecast animation and accuracy.
As a SCM you will also put a lot of focus to maintain good cooperation with suppliers, customers and internal functions, and visit customers and suppliers in accordance with internal procedures and needs. Also to lead and improve suppliers performance in term of service level, lead time and lot size
Another responsibility is to animate the Master Production Schedule by analyzing historical and forecasted needs, and by proposing necessary resources to put in place.

Qualifications
You need to have a bachelor in industrial Engineering or Warehouse management. We also think that you have at least 3 years of experience in a Logistic manager position (distribution, manufacturing planning, warehouse etc..). There is also important to be familiar with supply chain management such as implementation of lean logistics and project management.
As a person you are well structured, analytic and result driven. You have the ability to work on multiple subjects simultaneously. You have worked as a manager before and know how to coach and motivate a team.
