Supply Chain Planning Manager temporary position

One of the Group?s largest unit is Site Perstorp, in Sweden, which has been manufacturing chemical products in various forms since 1881. The Group?s head office is situated in Perstorp. Basic & specialty polyols, catalysts, formates, organic acids and formaldehyde are the main products manufactured in Perstorp.

This position is to cover for 10 months of maternity leave.

As Supply Chain Planning Manager you will be responsible for ensuring balance between demand and supply on a global scale and for demand supply balance for global cross-site products.

Main duties

- Lead the local Sales & Operations Planning process and the local organisation in monthly planning activities and implement best practices within Sales & Operations Planning locally
- Contribute to supply and demand balance on the local level
- Run monthly Sales & Operations Planning process for local site-specific products ensuring solid interface between Sales, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance as well as Innovation as needed
- Provide insight and guide decision-making in balancing product allocation plans, capacity plans, material plans and stocking locations plans
- Responsible for managing net demand planning process for local products (non-global)
- Responsible for deciding inventory location (inside production sites)
- Responsible for managing obsolete and slow moving inventory
- Responsible for managing finished product inventories

The successful candidate will have a university degree in relevant area, minimum of 5 years of relevant job experience and proven experience in leading and motivating teams.
