What you will do
Background and organization
The area of Strategic supply chain is the link between the customer demand and our production areas. You will be a part of the overall function of Logistics who hold different supply chain roles to support the Köping plant and will report directly to Director Logistics. As Supply Chain Specialist you are to identify and present solutions to improve the planning processes and the flow of our parts and products along the supply chain. The Supply Chain Specialist is expected to drive improvements and adjustments in order to lead the plant to a more efficient and stable planning, while increasing the customers’ service levels. By doing this you will get the opportunity to influence the plant’s deliverables - resulting in us becoming the best transmission factory in the world.
Main areas of responsibility
-To identify, develop and implement process improvements
-To participate and drive projects within supply chain planning
-To ensure correct and continuous improvements in supply chain processes such as
-Lead times to customers and alignment to our internal processes
-Planning parameters
-Inventory control and optimization
-Internal material and planning points
-S&OP capacity and order planning
-Planning strategies for manufacturing

This role suits a person that is humble and with a collaborative approach as the job requires you to engage people and manage changes. To be successful you are self-driven and strive to continuously improve processes and its parameters. In addition, strong analytical skills and precision are seen as important characteristics since you need to deliver on time and with high quality.
For this position, following qualifications and skills are required
-University degree from the area of Logistics or corresponding skills with experience from multiple years in supply chain planning and inventory control. Preferably S&OP, Production and Supply planning
-Knowledge and experience from production planning and capacity calculation
-Experience in independently driving improvements (small and large) with various stakeholders and team members - Lean methods/Kaizen
-As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.
-Advanced excel
