Technical Services are responsible for providing world class assistance to customers and channel partners in the usage of our products, as well as for leveraging our knowledge and relationships to assist in growing our software business in line with our corporate vision and performance expectations.

Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:

Product Support: Support customers promptly and effectively in order to improve our customers´ productivity and satisfaction with ANSYS simulation products.
Customer Training: Train customers on the usage of ANSYS simulation products to increase their proficiency, independence, and success in simulating engineering problems with ANSYS software.
Sales Assistance: Demonstrate the value of the ANSYS vision and software to sales prospects through collaboration with direct and indirect Sales in order to grow sales volume in existing markets.

The initial focus will be 100% product support in order to get to know ANSYS Software. The more independent you become the more you will be involved in customer training and sales assistance. Potential long term job accountabilities are: key customer development, business development, marketing assistance, project execution and product development assistance and interaction.

Individuals at this level are likely to have an engineering or scientific degree with a reasonable amount of relevant experience, or they will have gained the equivalent level of knowledge and skill through on the job experience and training. They may be working towards a professional level qualification, or be newly qualified.

- Competent in the use of general office software applications such as mail tools, document editors, spreadsheets and databases.
- Knowledge of ANSYS software product line is beneficial.
