Supporting Configuration Manager till Arcam, Mölnlycke

Job description
Arcam EBM, a GE additive company, are looking for a Supporting Configuration Manager who will report to the Configuration Manager. Responsibilities
Engineering Change Requests (ECR)Initial assessment of the ECR in terms of relevance, category and relations
Collect information, with help from the rest of the organization, and present a business case of the change to the ECRs Approval group to decide on.
Follow up and coordinate ECRs during development, within and outside of projects

Lead and prioritize the configuration tasks for the cross-functional team (Configuration Manager, Part administrator, Product Supply functions representatives) 
Final approval of engineering change activities including ensuring correct documentation to Purchasing, Production, after market and service during changes in the Product care process. Closure of the ECR, ensuring relevant information is present.
Release to the Start of Production (SOP) framework and other (e.g. separate Software updates)


Authorities together with the Configuration Manager
Approval of quick changes
Deciding on updates of the Engineering Change and Product Release processes when required
Decide whether a specific quick change shall be included in a release or not
Costs according to general procedures




Qualifications
Either previous relevant work experience in a similar role, or a M.Sc / B.Sc. in Engineering – preferably also with relevant work experience
Experience in project management
Interest in use and configuration of IT tools (Jira, Winchill, Creo, Sharepoint/Box)
Broad technical understanding of mechanical, electrical and software design. Good to have general knowledge about the EBM technology/3D manufacturing/vacuum/high temp
Experience of release and part preparation processes


Personal traits:
The Supporting Configuration Manager will be involved in numerous projects and dialogs and hence there is a need for this person to be an excellent communicator – both in speech and in writing.
