About us
The Sustainability department (OSS) at Scania Logistics is part of the Strategy & Business development organisation (OS). We are a small but dedicated team, working towards the vision to create a climate neutral, fair and circular logistic system.
Our mission is to lead the sustainability work within Scania and TRATON Logistics globally and to connect to the overall company- and group sustainability strategies and targets. This includes facilitating the work with setting strategies, targets and roadmaps, to work with method development, to monitor upcoming legislations and to report and communicate on the progress within sustainability.
We are now looking for a passionate Sustainability Manager to lead the team and continue to drive the sustainability efforts and to show that Scania is truly driving the shift to a more sustainable transport system!
Key responsibilities
• manage the work with developing sustainability strategies, roadmaps, targets and budget for decarbonization, people sustainability and circular business for Scania Logistics
• coordinate the sustainability work within TRATON Group Logistics
• monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals and communicate to internal and external stakeholders
• develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and forums internally and externally
• manage three skilled and dedicated direct reports and a large network of sustainability resources throughout Scania Logistics
• manage the monthly sustainability KPI reporting and annual report
• you will be part of the OS management team and report to the Head of Strategy & Business development
Your profile and qualifications
The ideal candidate has a passion for sustainability but also strong interpersonal- and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
You work in a structured way to reach set goals, but also dare to challenge the own organisation as well as the transport industry to break new grounds.
You hold a university degree, probably with focus on sustainability or engineering and have several years of work experience from similar roles.
