SW Func Development Expert on E-Motor Controls & Power El, E-Drive

AVL Scandinavia PTE has around 300 employees in Sweden and we are currently reinforcing and expanding our E-Drive skill pillar in Controls and thus looking for experienced function development experts who support our team. With our headquarters in Austria and affiliates spread globally we provide excellent engineering service to our world-renowned customers (both OEMs & Tier1s) and own interesting projects in many different areas. 
 
Your Responsibilities:   As a technical lead of E-Drive, you provide the team/project with necessary supports in electric motor controls and power electronics.    Leading the project, you act as the first face to the customers and implement the quotations based on their requests   You drive the team on the development of innovative strategies and functions for electric vehicle powertrain systems using modern simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)  Following a model-based algorithm development approach, you optimize the existing functional models and create new functions (map interpolation, sensor-less control, over modulation, junction temperature estimation and etc.) in the application software and maintain them until the series is introduced  You are involved in the MiL/SiL/HiL/PowerHiL tests of the functions that have been developed  You perform the requirement engineering, generate the test reports and FunDoc documentation if necessary 
Your Profile:  Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or Software Engineering  At least 3 years of professional and industry experience   Profound experience in control engineering and model-based development with Matlab / Simulink  Deep technical knowledge of field-oriented control of electric motors, power electronics and powertrain architecture  E-Drive product (E-Motor, Inverter, DC-DC converter) development experience, till SOP phase highly preferred  Leadership and customer skills  Good Swedish and English knowledge  Personality is very important to us! 
Meriting:  Familiar with automotive function development process, e.g. V-Cycle, Agile, and ASPICE standard  Development tools such as ETAS INCA, trace32, Integrity, ADD, Enterprise Architect  Product development experience of wide-bandgap semiconductors, e.g. SiC, GaN, and highly integrated eAxle system  Knowledge of basic software (e.g. AUTOSAR), hardware (e.g. FPGA, DSP) and functional safety (e.g. ISO26262)  Project management
