We currently have the following job opening;

SWDL/vehicle communication testing engineer

 As SWDL/vehicle communication testing engineer you will be part of our creative and dynamic global Service Engineering team, taking responsibility for workshop application requirements as well as securing the delivery of specified requirements before launch. You will need to have an open mind-set and attitude since the workshop application team will consist of highly skilled individuals with different background and personalities. You and the team will be a part of the workshop application development from concept stage through design release and verification. You will need to work in close cooperation with CEVT R&D, Geely IT, VCC IT development and the aftersales team in Hangzhou and Gothenburg. You will report directly to the Director Service Engineering.

The position is new and provides ample opportunity to work with the engineering related topics in close connection with the markets.

The work includes the follow up of and communication of set strategies. The work is done in close cooperation with CEVT R&D

The position is based in Gothenburg but with a Global responsibility. The position will require travel on regular basis.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Making sure that the workshop application requirements are delivered to and secure the deliveries from all vehicle projects. The work will be performed in close cooperation with CEVT R&D
- In close cooperation with the testers make sure that the applications are tested and verified according to requirements before release.

Requirements

- B.Sc. or several years of relevant experience
- Networking, communicative with business acumen and mind-set
- Structured and used to summarize and present the status of your work
- See problems as challenges and look for solutions
- Extensive experience from vehicle Diagnostic and SWDL, preferably with specific experience from Volvo cars diagnostic system Several years of experience in SWDL/vehicle communication testing
