System Engineer IP – Cockpit

As a System engineer you are working with the development of components and systems within the Instrumentpanel team in the Cockpit area. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers according to requirements. You will support in delivering the the system in time to right cost and Quality.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Supporting the release process for CAD data within the E- and M-BOM structures.
- Responsible for IP project reporting systems as part planning
- Responsible for the issue tracker and PCR creation with in the team.
- Supporting delivery engineering inputs to design team in line with engineering requirements
- Supporting delivery of engineering inputs to Design team in line with requirements
- Supporting product definintion towards attributes and other stakeholders in line with product and process requiremetns
- Supporting ESOW and TO creation.

Requirements

- BSc. or M.Sc. in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Several years of experience from development of components and systems within the automotive area and interior trims and panels.
- Working experience within global organization at car makers or global car maker supplier.
- High knowledge of manufacturing processes for the specific system areas
- Several years of product development experience towards production, test and assembly facilities.
- Experience of CAD modelling, preferable CATIA V5
- Experience of working with PLM systems, preferable Teamcenter
- Team oriented
- Ability to work and communicate within project team as well as cross functional teams.
- Ability to drive work towards suppliers and other stakeholders within CEVT
