System Engineer - Luggage

As a System Engineer Luggage– you are part of the Interior Trim team.

You are working with the development of Luggage systems. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers in order to fulfill the technical requirements and the Design intent.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Driving and developing system requirement alignment
- Developing system design solutions together with our partners and suppliers, based on best practice inorder to meet new requirement
- Defining, planning and monitoring system testing and validation together with the validation manager.
- Leading and coordinating the cross functional team and overall work tasks

Requirements

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical eng.
- Min 3 yaers relevant experience from development of components and systems within the automotive area.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently
- Driven problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities.
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- Experience of project leadin
- Ability to drive work towards suppliers
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
- Ability to travel
