We currently have the following job opening;

System Engineer, Powertrain Software ECU node responsible

The controls and calibration module team at the powertrain integration unit delivers control system solutions for new upcoming vehicles. This is an exciting mission where you will play an important role in building up the operations. Your responsibility will be to specify and secure powertrain software functionality in a couple of ECUs.

The module team consists of 4 different areas, i.e. project, hardware, software and calibration for the complete powertrain. You will be placed in the Software area, but work in a cross-functional team with colleagues in both Sweden and China.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Responsible for specifying software functionality in powertrain ECUs that are included in the delivery of the CMA platform
- Maintain and develop according to project demands SW specifications towards chosen suppliers
- Secure the implementation of specified functionality
- Be the main supplier contact for SW topics
- Cooperate and plan activities together with HW and calibration teams concerning your ECUs.

Requirements

- Engineering degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level
- 5 years’ experience from automotive embedded systems
- Experience from powertrain control and calibration
- Good knowledge about SW specifications on platform and application level
- Great ability to take own initiatives and cooperate with other units in Sweden and China
- Fluent in English
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
- Car driving license
- Ability to travel
