System Integration Engineer

As a System Integrator you will handle all aspects of delivery projects for Interconnect & Roaming Settlements, for new and current customers around the globe.

Our customer base is continually growing with most of our customers based in Europe and Africa. During 2012, we successfully secured six new deployments with operators in Ireland, Serbia, Cuba, Norway, Republic of Congo and Angola for our CapSettle solution.

You are able to work independently but you are at the same time social and a team player. You should also want to travel and enjoy working in, and adapting to, new cultures.

The role is best suited to a project engineer with a solid technical background who has previously worked with similar tasks and has previous knowledge of the telecommunications industry. Project management skills and experience is a merit.

Desired skills & experience

- At least 2-5 years of practical experience of system engineering, administration and management of high-availability server platforms, preferably within telecommunications and BSS/OSS
- Be able to interpret and discuss technical documentation and requirements with the customer and third party vendors
- Strong shell scripting skills (Linux/UNIX)
- Excellent SQL/Oracle DB knowledge
- Be able to define and coordinate installations, configurations and tests as well as troubleshoot implementations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- International experience is a merit but not a requirement
