System Manager for Interior surface materials

Assignment Description

We are looking for a dedicated System Manager for Interior surface materials.

As a System Manager you are responsible for the development of new surface materials within the CEVT’s module team, Interior Trim. You will also have the responsibility to manage the resources and the deliveries from the project team both in Sweden and China.

 Responsibilities and tasks

- Drive and develop system requirement alignment across Geely Auto and Volvo Cars, into one common set of requirements
- Develop system design solutions together with our partners and suppliers, based on best practice to meet new requirements
- Define, plan and monitor system testing and validation together with the validation manager.
- Lead & coordinate the cross functional team and overall work tasks

Qualifications

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. eng.
- 5-10 years’ experience of automotive development
- Relevant experience of the specific system area
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for the specific system area
- Specific knowledge in textiles, foils, leather and other surface materials
- Experience of project management
- Experience of supplier management
- Ability to drive, motivate and convince
- Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
