System Manager HMI
In this role, you are responsible for leading a team of interaction designers and HMI responsible, working on CEVT’s Infotainment system and driver information in center stack display and instrument cluster. You will work within CEVT’s Infotainment & Driver Information Module Team, as one of the team leaders. The team leader shall lead the tem regarding fulfilment of both long-, and short-term targets. Including everything from setting overall strategies to helping prioritizing in everyday tasks. The organization is still expanding and we work in a very dynamic environment. You will be part of setting strategies for the department. You will be part of a global development team with resources in both Sweden and China.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Be the main responsible for the overall HMI within CEVT.
• Assess the need for assets, both short and long-term for CEVT’s HMI team.
• Drive organizational change and improvement.
• To further grow and build up our HMI team, to be a facilitator/coach to the team
• Set strategies regarding (work processes, organization, product development etc)
• Setup and educate within the HMI/UX area
• Propose and initiate Advanced Engineering projects
• Be an active part of budget and recruiting processes

Profile and Background
• B.Sc. Interaction design/Technical design, Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar.
• >5 years’ experience of embedded systems development
• Team leader experience, and an urge to lead teams and develop each individual team member
• Solid experience of Automotive HMI engineering and development
• Ability to handle a dynamic environment
• Ability to think holistic and to set high level strategies without getting stuck in details.
• Ability to drive, motivate and convince
• Persistency to pursue targets and take decisions
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
• Experience of graphical design is an advantage
• Experience of working with Asians is an advantage.
• Driver’s license

Additional information
• Travels to Asia may be needed (approx. 2-3 per year).
• Each individual in our team has a high level of responsibility and mandate, and is expected to be able to work autonomously.
