System Manager Lighting Systems

This is an assignment at Exterior Light Systems within the Module Team Exterior Systems. Lighting is one of the most dynamic areas within vehicle development and identified as a strategic prioritized areas within CEVT. 

As a System Manager you are technically responsible for all Lighting Systems but your main focus will be on development of new systems. To support your role CEVT has developed a lighting team with needed skills; function owner and function implementation, lighting specifications and experienced system engineers that drive the system development, support design engineers and concept design engineer with light simulation skills.

 The work principles within the Exterior System Module team are flexibility and the possibility to use what you excel at together with a strong sense of co-operation. This means that you as part of a larger team will also support activities in other areas as well as you will get support on your area.

 Responsibilities and tasks

- Develop advanced high tech lighting systems together with Product Design and suppliers
- In early phases lead the development of top of the line lighting systems
- Support project development with focus on technical issues/feasibility
- Support high impact technical issues during launch

 Profile and Background

- Sc. or M.Sc. Engineering or the equivalent experience
- 10 years’ experience within automotive lighting
- Knowledge about trends and applicability of new technologies
- Experience in project management
- Experience in supplier management
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
- Pragmatic approach to issue solving
- Strong strive for cooperation
- Wish to achieve excellence in execution
