System Program Leader Active Safety & Vehicle Dynamic Functions

Active Safety & Vehicle Dynamic Functions delivers world leading active safety & vehicle dynamics features and has a clear ambition to extend our leadership in the future. We have several 'world first' functions in production today within Collision Avoidance and Driver Support and our next step is to take the lead in the new exciting area of Autonomous Driving.The department consists of about 85 persons organised within four groups; Collision Avoidance, Automated Drive, Driver Support & SW Integration and Vehicle Dynamics & Motion Control. We currently developing and own around 40 customer functions e.g. City Safety, ACC, Driver Alert, Parking Pilot, Vehicle control features and so on.

As a System Program leader (SPL) you will be project responsible for both function development and function verification and you will be organised and report directly to the Manager on department level. You will work with projects in software development and work as the bridge between the program management and the engineering team to make sure their work are efficient and relevant.

Main responsibilities

* Continuously report program status to line and program management
* Responsible for delivering a quality assured product to a specific program
* Leading an engineering team and ensure our delivery plan meets program timing
* Act as a bridge between engineering, verification and the program
* Be the our main contact to our program

Required qualifications

* M. Sc Education
* Experience of Project Management, from the Automotive Industry is meritorious
* Experience of function and model based development

Personal qualities

* You must be able to lead, organize & enthuse your team
* You have good communication skills and a structured approach
* You are self driven and ambitious as well as organised
