Tactical Purchasing Manager

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a bachelor's degree in business administration or economics, and more than 5 years' experience in purchasing (preferably international), and at least a couple of years' experience as a manager.You also have good experience in ERP systems and production, as well as some background in electronics.Very strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are a major advantage, and you must be fluent in English. THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT Since Axis is growing rapidly, we have to ensure our ability to meet market expectations and maintain a high focus on prioritized goals, e.g.service level and delivery precision.This makes it crucial to have very good knowledge about and communication with our suppliers around the world.It also makes it essential to have good control of our MPS system and material supply process, in line with our quality standards.The tactical purchasing group handles all day-to-day questions, planning for production and purchase-order handling for all products and materials used at our distribution centers.We also strive for continuous improvement in our supply chain in order to fully meet the challenges of rapid growth.
