Join ABB Robotics as a Team Leader for our Reliability Lab, a critical function responsible for long-term testing of developed industrial robots. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to identifying and addressing potential issues in robots before they reach the customer, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

The role is located in Västerås, Sweden.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will oversee and coordinate the operations of the Reliability Lab in Sweden.
Plan and execute long-term testing activities, supporting several functions within Robotics by conducting tests during the development phase of new robotic technologies.
Develop and enhance testing methodologies, equipment, and procedures to drive continuous improvement in reliability testing.
Spearhead the setup and design of operations within our cutting-edge Robotics Campus, shaping the future of our reliability testing endeavors.

Your background
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Technology with a focus on mechatronics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python is essential for this role.
Leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team to achieve operational excellence.
Previous involvement with industrial robots, whether in R&D, maintenance, or production capacities is desirable.
Experience working in laboratory and testing environments, contributing to quality assurance initiatives is an advantage in this role.
Prior involvement in quality improvement initiatives or quality control practices is meritorious.
Fluency in Swedish and English is a must, written and spoken alike.
