OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Team Manager for their Electromechanics Team within their business area Industrial Technique. As Team Manager, you will bring your experise in the field to the table, and be responsible for building and providing the experties necessary for the team's projects.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The Electromechanics team consists of design- and lab engineers with expertise in Mechatronics. Team members are working in line activities and product projects with design of embedded electronics, in controllers, accessories and cables for advanced tightening systems in assembly stations. The work includes everything from concept studies to industrialization of a new developed product. To verify products and systems, the team also perform simulations and extensive lab testing. Electrical safety and certification is a crucial part of their work.

As team manager you have personnel responsibility with everyday leadership and coaching, salary reviews, performance appraisals and recruitments. You will be responsible for the budget and a part of the Mechatronic department's management team.
You will be responsible for building and providing expertise in relevant technology to our projects and R&T- (Research & Technology) activities, and ensure knowledge accumulation over time to secure unrivalled customer value in our existing and future product generations. The competence team for power- and tool cables (included in the team) have a technical product responsibility and develop the existing product ranges with variants and quality issues.
The team manager is expected to take an active part in the daily operational work and also drive the core competence team for tool and power cables. Another important line activity is to drive simulation-driven development for thermal simulations which is well connected to our future products, with high demands of miniaturization and increased productivity.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
Education:


* You hold a Bachelor or Master in Engineering with a major in Mechanics, Electronics or Mechatronics


Your experience:


* Proven leadership in managerial or project manager roles
* Relevant R&D experience
* Experience of thermal simulations or mechatronic design is a plus
