Academic Work is on behalf of our client Atlas Copco looking for a Technical Communicator to their business area Industrial Technique.

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Atlas Copco is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
At Atlas Copco, we work in a modern way creating structured information within a CCMS. We then distribute content to many different channels including online help, print, and web pages. We are always trying to find new ways of working and distributing information, all to improve our customer experience and grow the business.

With Atlas Copco, you will have the mission to make our information more useable and accessible to customers, sales and service organizations. As part of Atlas Copco's skilled team, you will produce timely, accurate, and user-friendly technical instructions, for products, solutions and systems. In order to ensure that our documentation meets required quality and efficiency demands, our Technical Communicators work in close collaboration with the Technical Illustrators, R&D Designers, and Product Managers.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
To succeed in this role, you need documented experience as a technical writer used to working in a structured way, producing content in English for both hardware/software products. You are also used to giving feedback on usability. Excellent writing skills as well as experience from working with topic based writing, is also required.

It is a merit if you hold a technical degree, but is not necessary if you have relevant work experience and a technical interest. Any experience in graphics, illustration or information architecture is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured with a good sense of establishing plans. You are a responsive and helpful team player with great communication, collaboration and networking skills. It is important that you have an interest in exploring products and systems in order to understand how they work and determine our end users’ needs. Given your open-minded and proactive approach, you easily find new improvements and you can easily adapt to changes in a mobile environment. Overall, you contribute to our fellowship, innovative environment and inspiring atmosphere.
