What you will do: 
As a member of a cross-funtional team you will work on a wide variety of assignments relating to re-purpose & recycling of traction batteries.
* Lead technical evaluations on recycling technologies in supplier sourcing and other partner evaluations
* Lead risk and safety analysis of HV battery dismantling & fault tracing activities, stationary storage applications as well as battery packaging & transportation
* Perform technical feasibility studies and develop technical solutions to ensure all battery handling activities are performed correctly and in a safe manner in Volvo workshops
* Develop techncail guidelines for Volvo workshops in safe handling of HV batteries
* Lead internal trainings on battery risk & safety

You and your skills:
You have a University degree or equivalent experience in combination with a university degree preferably in electrical or chemical, Material Science or equivalent.
You have a strong interest and knowledge of Lithium-ion battery technology and experience in working with battery safety and durability testing. Experience in testing and validation of battery packs and modules for safety is also one of the requirements for this role.
Knowledge about handling high risk batteries in accordance with ADR, UN 3480 (Dangerous goods) and experience of working agile are preferable.
Communicating both orally and written in English is important.
