We are seeking a skilled and experienced Function Owner with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our automotive business. You will also help us transform from a traditional automotive waterfall ways-of-working to an agile environment, hence previous experience in agile transformation is especially meriting. As Function Owner, the workflow is to design a function by creating and breaking down requirements into different levels. This job requests a high-level working both within the team, and outside towards other teams/subsystems and the components which are involved within your function area. The job requires tracking of all progress of software development made by the ECU supplier toward developing functions and attributes realized by multiple systems. Internally CEVT and externally towards ZEEKR/VCC/Geely and the supplier. Follow up issues in CEVT engineering systems. Reporting back progress to the managers. You will work in a team with about 25 persons with different roles as ECU Component Owners, Subsystem Owners, Technical Function Developers and Technology Leaders.

Responsibilities and tasks:

- Proposing new content/ideas on your function area.

- Create Customer requirements, Use cases or User stories

- Create Function Description Requirements

- Function Description Alternative (FDA) design and review

- Function Design (FDR)

- Design of Function Realization Requirements (FRR)

- Function content review with Attribute, UX and Project discussions

- Check traceability matrices

- Function Safety design and review

- System-Weaver requirement distribution

- Create Analysis & Verification Needs

- Create/own Function Implementation Plan and critical chain planning

- Give input to Owner’s Manual

- Bug investigation and follow-up

- FMEA status follow-up

You have probably done something like this:

- M.Sc. Electrical or Computer Engineering.

- At least 5 years of experience in automotive system engineering and/or function ownership.

- Knowledge of vehicle Electrical Architecture.

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, software, and hardware within a vehicle.

- Ability to learn from others quickly to then teach, lead, and apply knowledge.

- Ability to lead others, report to a project, and engage effectively in cross-functional organizations.

- You are an inspiring and motivating leader who supports teams to get things done.

- Comfortable in pushing the boundaries of what is possible to define new features and services in order to make our solutions exciting, new and breath-taking.

- Comfortable with ambiguity. You are a self-starter and purpose driven and have a strong sense of curiosity

- You are good at communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders and customers at all levels

- You know how to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts

- Experience with car infotainment and connected services and apps is an advantage.

- Experience with software architecture considerations and agile software development methods.

- Experience with automotive industry standards and regulations.
