Technical Project Leader

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment.Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America.Job Summary: You will lead the teams that are responsible for the design of complete or partial cab projects.The cab is an important part of the complete machine and it is of great importance to our customer.It is today perceived as one of the best on the market and we intend to strengthen this position. Responsibility: You will have the following responsibilities: .Coordinate technical aspects of cab design with the Project Manager, Engineering and Technical Product Manager from the overall machine projects .Cross functional coordination between production and purchasing project leaders as well as other Technology Platform engineering groups .Plan and execute all projects according the QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Features) targets for the project .Will be responsible for the project budget for the technical elements of the projects .Will be the input and output communication link from the Cab Technology Platform development team and the complete machine project .Will follow the GDP (Global Development Process) for the Cab elements .Will work on continuous improvement of project management tools within Cabs Experience: We think that you have a university education within the area of R&D or comparable experience.You shall have experience of Project Management.You will have demonstrated R&D team leader experience, preferably with global team leadership.
