Feedstocks are changing as biochemicals are entering the picture with full force. Heat transfer plays a vital part in making this transition happen and Business Unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger (BU GPHE) is now looking for a Technical sales engineer to join us on this exciting journey.

In this role, you will work in an international environment, playing an important part in growing and developing our market leading position within energy efficiency. You will be part of a team of sales developers and sales engineers growing and developing this business from our head office in Lund.

As Technical sales engineer for Petrochemical industry you will be instrumental in further enhancement and sharing of our technical know how. By taking the technical lead, together with the rest of our organization drive continued growth, increased market share with energy efficiency and sustainability close to your heart.

About the job

You will develop our offering in close collaboration with colleagues in Sales Companies around the world. You will ensure the right solutions are presented to our customers for our continued success in established as well as new businesses. Your responsibilities will, among other things, include:
* Take the technical lead on support in all stages of the sales process
* Support our sales companies in selecting, improving and optimizing the best solutions that matches our customers’ needs
* Provide technical input to product improvements and new product development
* Develop and improve tools for value propositions supporting our everyday business
* As an important corner stone in our department, be able to develop and execute trainings and secure knowledge sharing through the organization
* Responsibility for troubleshooting and performance optimization
* As part of the central organization, you will have the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects with other Business Unit functions, such as the Industry management, Product management, Service, R&D and Manufacturing

Who are you?

The right candidate has a chemical engineering background (or similar) with a technical drive. You preferably have experience in project sales in a business-to-business environment. Further requirements include
* You are a good communicator who takes on new challenges with a positive spirit
* You are curious and eager to develop your knowledge within the fields of heat transfer, customer processes and applications
* You enjoy challenges and finding the optimal solutions from technical and commercial aspects
* You are customer focused with strong networking qualities
* You are fluent in English
* You can travel 40-50 days per year
 

Practicalities
The position is preferably based in Lund. You will report to the Global Sales Manager.
