Technical Sales Engineer to Comsys

Comsys continues to grow and is now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the product management and technical sales team. The Technical Engineer will play a key role within this organization to collect information from customers and sales partner and provide feedback to development and future products. Example of typical, common tasks in the work week are:

- Sizing of customer requests (quotation/pre-sales)
- System simulation: develop sizing tools, and technical sales tools
- Provide input to product development/product management
- Provide documentation and other materials to facilitate sales and the use of the products
- Increase customer satisfaction and expand and enhance customer and partner relationships.

Since Comsys is a well-established, small and entrepreneurial company the right person must be open to be a part of building processes, structures and methods. Comsys? corporate language is English, hence strong language skills are essential in English, and other language skills languages (Swedish, German, and Spanish) are meriting.

The right person has a Master of Science in Engineering (Civilingenjör) with a background in power quality and/or electrical power systems. Experience from variable speed drives or electrical power systems gives merit.
Experience in sales gives merit, since a certain degree of the role is building relationships with customers and partners.

As a person, the Technical Sales Engineer needs to be self-going and driven, and be able to handle complex and high-demanding tasks in a balanced way, sometimes under pressure. Business orientation, strong communication and social skills are also essential in order to be successful in the role and at Comsys.

The Technical Sales Engineer will operate from Comsys HQ in Lund, Sweden and will report directly to Jonas Persson, Head of Products & Services.
